3. Who Can Use JAMIE
JAMIE is intended exclusively for individuals who are at least 18 years old.

- uploaded media.
Users should carefully consider the information they choose to share with others.
JAMIE cannot prevent other users from copying or sharing information that has been made visible to them.
7. Messaging and Shared Content
JAMIE provides messaging and communication features between users.

- shared photographs;
- shared videos;
- media attachments.
We process this information to provide the messaging functionality of the platform. Messages and uploaded content may be processed using automated moderation technologies to detect harmful, abusive or prohibited content and to help maintain the safety of the JAMIE community.
Communications are protected using industry-standard security measures during transmission and storage.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, JAMIE does not provide end-to-end encryption for messaging services.
Users are responsible for the information they choose to share through communications and should avoid sharing sensitive personal information unless they are comfortable doing so.
Where necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, comply with legal obligations or enforce our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, we may process information relating to communications in accordance with applicable law.
If you delete your account, messages previously sent to other users may remain visible in their conversations unless deletion is technically possible or legally required.
Users may block or report other users.
Information relating to reports, blocks and moderation actions may be processed to maintain the safety and integrity of the JAMIE community.
8. Location Features
JAMIE offers location-based features to help users discover people, communities, groups and activities nearby.
Users may voluntarily provide location information, including:
- their general profile location;
- locations associated with activities and events;
- map locations selected when creating activities;
- other location information chosen to be shared within the platform.
Providing location information is generally optional but may be necessary to use certain features of the Services.
JAMIE does not continuously track users or create movement histories or location profiles.
Location information is processed solely to provide the requested functionality and improve the user experience within the platform.
Users can manage location permissions through their device settings and may modify or remove location information from their profile where applicable.
The legal basis for processing location information is the performance of our contract with users under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR and, where required, the user’s consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
9. Premium Features and Subscriptions
JAMIE may offer optional premium features and subscription services.
Premium services may include additional platform functionality, increased visibility of groups, clubs or activities and other enhanced user features.
Where users purchase premium services, we process information necessary to:
- manage subscriptions;
- provide premium functionality;
- maintain transaction records;
- prevent fraudulent transactions;
- provide customer support.
Payment transactions are processed through authorised payment service providers.
JAMIE does not store complete payment card details.
Information relating to subscriptions may be retained for accounting, tax and legal compliance purposes where required by applicable law.
The legal basis for this processing is the performance of our contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR and compliance with legal obligations under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
10. Promotional Content and Partner Services
JAMIE may display promotional content, sponsored activities, partner collaborations and other commercial information within the platform.
We may also promote JAMIE through advertising platforms and marketing services operated by third parties.

Third-party partners offering products or services through the platform are independently responsible for their own products and services.
JAMIE is not responsible for transactions or agreements entered into directly between users and third-party providers outside the platform.

12. Third-Party Service Providers
JAMIE works with carefully selected third-party service providers to operate, secure and improve the Services.
Depending on the functionality used, personal data may be processed by the following categories of service providers:
Cloud Infrastructure
Railway (USA) provides cloud hosting and the managed PostgreSQL database used to operate the JAMIE backend.
Domain registration
IONOS registers the domain used to operate the services and provides authoritative DNS resolution.
Object Storage, Performance and Security
Cloudflare (USA) stores uploaded images (profile pictures, group-, club-, and cooperation photos). Cloudflare’s content delivery network also accelerates content delivery and protects the platform against malicious traffic and attacks.
Email Services
Resend provides email infrastructure for transactional communications such as account verification, password recovery and service notifications.
IONOS provides email infrastructure for customer support.
Payment Processing
Stripe processes subscription payments and digital boost purchases. Payment data is handled directly by Stripe.
Error Tracking
Sentry (USA) receives anonymised error reports, stack traces, browser and device metadata, and IP-addresses when the application encounters a technical issue. Passwords, authentication tokens, cookies and chat content are stiped, server-side before transmission.
App Distribution and Authentication
Apple and Google provide app distribution, authentication and account sign-in services. Where users choose to register or log in using these providers, JAMIE may receive account and profile information necessary to authenticate and manage user accounts.
Apple and Google may also provide subscription and notification functionality.
Music Integration
Spotify may be used where users choose to connect their Spotify accounts. Where enabled by the user, JAMIE may receive limited profile information necessary to provide Spotify integration features.
Maps and Location Services
Nominatim (OpenStreetMap) may be used for geocoding and location-related services.
AI and Content Moderation
JAMIE may use third-party automated moderation services, including OpenAI and Sightengine, to help detect harmful or prohibited content and maintain platform safety.
Image moderation is handled by sightengine (France, EU). Every uploaded image is submitted to sightengine to be automatically checked for nudity, sexual content and graphic violence before it is stored. Imaged that exceed thresholds are rejected.
Text moderation is handled by OpenAI (USA). User generated text (chat messages, direct messages, group, club names and descriptions) is submitted to the OpenAI moderation API for automated screening for hate speech, harassment, threats and sexual content.
Analytics
JAMIE may use analytics services to better understand how users interact with the platform and to improve functionality.
Advertising and Marketing
Advertising and promotional services may be provided through platforms operated by Meta and Google.
Where required by law, personal data used for advertising or analytics purposes will only be processed with appropriate consent.
These providers process personal data in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable data protection laws.
Where service providers process personal data on our behalf, appropriate contractual safeguards are implemented in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
13. International Data Transfers
JAMIE primarily processes personal data within the European Economic Area (EEA).
However, some of our service providers may process personal data in countries outside the EEA where this is necessary to provide their services.
Where personal data is transferred internationally, JAMIE takes reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Such safeguards may include:
· adequacy decisions adopted by the European Commission;
· Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission;

Users may delete their accounts through the platform settings.
Deleting an account generally results in the removal or anonymisation of personal information associated with that account, unless retention is required by law, necessary for legitimate business purposes or necessary to protect the rights, safety and security of JAMIE or other users.
Certain information may therefore remain where legally required or technically necessary.
15. Safety, Moderation and Community Protection
Maintaining a safe and respectful community is an important part of the JAMIE platform.
